How StressGen protects your data and keeps your information private.
What We Collect
We only collect what we need to provide you with accurate stress testing results:
- Scenario inputs— The prompts and preferences you provide when creating stress test scenarios.
- Generated results— The stress test outputs, analysis, and reports our platform produces for you.
- Account details— Your email address, organization name, and role so we can manage your access.
- Usage patterns— Anonymous usage metrics that help us improve the platform. We do not track personal browsing activity.
How We Protect Your Data During AI Processing
Your privacy is built into every step of our AI workflow. Before any data is sent to an AI model, it is cleaned to remove personal and sensitive information.
- Data is cleaned before AI processing — Names, account numbers, and other identifying details are automatically removed before anything reaches an AI model.
- No personal data reaches AI providers — The AI models that power our analysis never see your raw personal information. Only anonymized, non-identifiable data is used.
- Automatic safeguards — These protections are enforced automatically at every stage of the process and cannot be bypassed.
Security & Data Isolation
All data is protected using industry-standard encryption, both when it is stored and when it is transmitted.
- Encrypted at every stage — Your data is encrypted while being transferred and while stored in our systems using industry-standard encryption methods.
- Complete data isolation — Your organization's data is completely isolated from other customers. There is no way for one organization to access another's data.
We Never Sell Your Data
StressGen does not sell, share, or monetize your data in any way. Your scenarios, results, and usage data exist solely to power your stress testing experience.
We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party. When we connect to external data sources for market and economic data, only general query parameters are sent — never your proprietary scenario data.
Monitoring & Error Tracking
We use Sentry for error monitoring to maintain platform reliability. Error reports include:
- Collected — Page URL, browser type and version, anonymized stack traces, and timestamp of the error.
- Not collected — Scenario data, personal information, credentials, or any financial data you enter.
- Usage metrics — Anonymous, aggregate usage patterns (page views, feature usage) help us prioritize improvements. These metrics contain no personally identifiable information.
Cookies
StressGen uses only essential cookies required for authentication:
- Authentication cookies — Secure, HTTP-only cookies that maintain your login session. These are essential for the platform to function and cannot be disabled.
- No tracking cookies — We do not use advertising, analytics, or any third-party tracking cookies.
- Session duration — Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Refresh tokens are valid for 7 days.
Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary:
- Account data — Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
- Scenario data — Retained while your account is active. You can delete individual scenarios at any time.
- Error logs — Automatically purged after 90 days.
- Cached data — API response caches expire after 5 minutes and are not persisted.
Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- Access — Request a complete export of all your scenarios, results, and account data at any time.
- Deletion — Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data. Deletion is processed within 30 days and cannot be undone.
- Correction — Update or correct your account information through your profile settings or by contacting our support team.
